The offering of of additional entertainment services is still relatively not exploited

The creation of state public advisory committee to improve coordination between the particular agencies on the issues of tourism, is a step forward in the dialogue between public and private sectors, commented Vice President of the Bulgarian hotel and restaurant association Dimitar Karanenov. The objectives of the committee - to define the priorities of the tourism sector and to analyze trends in its development, will assist the work of hotel and tour operators in Bulgaria.

"I continue to stand the idea of building an united strategy for tourism development," stated Karanenov, as currently the main problems in the industry are not yet regulated by appropriate legislation. Vivid example of this is the indiscriminate construction, devastating the vacation of a lot of tourists. The poor infrastructure is also one of the problems of tourism, but it is solvable at the local level, if the partner relationships and coordination between government departments improve.

Of significant importance is that the proposed restructuring and present general tourism services to be divided on hobbies and interests. In the biggest Bulgarian resort - Sunny Beach Bay for example, the offering of additional entertainment services is still relatively not exploited. This gives the opportunity to experiment in different directions by developing a wide range of entertainment, including tours to cultural and historical significant sites.
